Media Computation 101 Summer Camp

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Have you ever wondered how special effects are done on images? Have you ever wanted to try it for yourself? This session is an adaptation of one of our introductory computer science courses. You will learn some of the fundamentals of media manipulation while applying basic programming principles and techniques. Camp will culminate in a showcase of your creativity.

This camp is hosted by the Office of Outreach, Enrollment and Community. It is intended for all high school students, from rising 9th graders to 2010 high school graduates.
