There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Georgia Tech FutureMedia explores new paradigms in how content is created, distributed,
and consumed.

Consistently ranked in the top ten in the world for technology universities, Georgia Tech is the home of FutureMedia—a global open innovation collaborative initiative focused on discovering, creating, commercializing and shaping the future of media. With over 19 centers, 37 living labs and nearly 500 faculty working in this space, Georgia Tech is a leader in discovering what is next.

Connecting universities, students, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to create synergy, new perspectives and previously unimagined success stories is the 24/7 goal of FutureMedia.

FutureMedia Fest is an annual event that brings visionaries together physically and virtually to innovate. A highlight of the event will be the announcement of the FutureMedia Trends Outlook. More than 500 people are expected to attend. FutureMedia technology will enable participants from around the globe to engage via virtual experiences, and press involvement will amplify the event well beyond October.
