A year after marriage equality was legalized, what's next for the LGBTQIA community? In this special OUT Week event, speakers from Georgia Equality, Emory Law School, Solutions Not Punishment Coalition, and Southern Fried Queer Pride will discuss the legal, social, and political goals that LGBTQIA activists are working towards now.
Speakers will address such critical issues as state- and community- based violence, anti-trans legislation, and housing and workplace discrimination among other topics in this important and engaging discussion about how to build intersectional and affirming LGBTQIA social justice movements.
Join us at 5:30pm for a reception featuring hors d'oeuvres before we begin our panel discussion at 6pm.
