We hope you will join us as we screen the Ava DuVernay documentary 13th on Thursday, Feb. 2 as part of the 2017 Georgia Tech Black History Month Celebration. The event will begin at 6:00 PM.
Slavery. Jim Crow. Criminalization. Links in a chain of racial inequality, forged by political and economic motives. In this thought-provoking documentary, scholars, activists and politicians analyze the criminalization of African Americans and the U.S. prison boom.
