Viewing collaboration as the key to disaster recovery, Pinar Keskinocak, co-director in the Center for Health and Humanitarian Logistics, associate director of research in the Health Systems Institute, and associate professor in the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech, builds her case in “Collaborative Key to Disaster Recovery,” a viewpoint published in the June 2010 issue of Air Cargo World.

 “It is time for all of us who work in the humanitarian logistics field to engage with others within and outside of our organizations and begin building our relationships,”  Keskinocak stresses. “This can result in remarkable synergies, more efficient and effective use of limited resources, and positive impact on people’s lives.”
