There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Professor Leon McGinnis and colleagues Russell Peak (MARC) and Chris Paredis (ME) are working with Lockheed Martin to demonstrate the use of a new systems modeling language (SysML) for supporting system design with integrated simulation and analysis.
Professor Paredis' team is investigating the use of SysML in product design, and the tight integration between a system architecture specified in SysML and an associated simulation in Modelica.
Dr. Peak's team is investigating generic methods for linking product design models specified in SysML to generic solvers.
Professor McGinnis' team is linking factory models developed in SysML to product models and investigating the potential for automated generation of factory analysis using simulation and factory physics.
Additional information on SysML-related activities can be found at: http://www.pslm.gatech.edu/topics/sysml/
