The Fulton-Dekalb Hospital Authority (FDHA) is seeking applications for the Michael Hollis Internship and the Frank Monteith Fellowship Programs. The Hollis internship program is for undergraduate students and the Monteith Fellowship program is for graduate students. Students work within the FDHA Community Health Awareness and Prevention Office on a prevention project and a group community outreach project. They are exposed to community outreach events and partners. They have to complete a project during the 200 hour internship/fellowship and at the successful completion, they are awarded either college credit OR a $3,000 scholarship.
The internship program integrates academics with practical experience as opportunity for students to assist the FDHA.
