There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. This month, Anthony Cortese, higher education's leading sustainability advocate, gave a speech at the recent Council of Independent Colleges conference. Mr. Cortese shared the stage with ISyE Alum Ray Anderson (IE 1956), chief executive of Interface, a major carpet company that has gone green in a big way and saved lots of money in the process. Interface has retooled its manufacturing processes to run on renewable power and to eliminate waste.
