There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The last time the Final Four was in San Antonio, Tech played in the finals. This time, three engineering professors from the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering are predicting the winner based on a computer ranking system they developed. The ramblin' result: Congrats, Kansas. Tech's system goes by the acronym LRMC, which stands for Logistic Regression Markov Chain. According to a news release, it "uses basic scoreboard data."
