There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. RF Design - October 22, 2008
Based upon research at the GEORGIA TECH , predicting wear and degradation will enable predicting the remaining useful life of mechanical and electronic equipment. This could make huge contributions to enhancing reliability and lowering maintenance and spare parts costs. Nagi Gebraeel, an assistant professor at GEORGIA TECH, has developed models that use data from real-time sensor measurements to calculate and continuously revise remaining useful life of various systems and components based on their current condition.
