Park(ing) DayCome and enjoy the fun pop-up parks in Tech Square. Instead of being filled with cars, the metered spaces will host creatively designed temporary parks. There will be food, fun activities, and engaging displays for people to stop by and participate in.
Park(ing) Day challenges individuals and groups to create a temporary public space within a metered parking space. The mission is to educate passersby how public space is designed and allocated, as well as inspiring them to interact with the creative spaces people have designed.
