There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Margaret Kosal was a guest (October 10, 2008) on the public radio program, "Homeland Security Inside and Out" (Texas A&M University and KAMU 90.9 FM) and addressed the policy issues to reduce the threat of WMD terrorism.
Dr. Dave McIntyre, director of the Integrative Center for Homeland Security at Texas A&M, says: "While evaluations of our efforts in nuclear and biological prevention and response were generally at the "C" level or below, efforts to counter chemical terrorism garnered an encouraging "B-" in the final report. That analysis was written for the Partnership for A Secure America by Dr Margaret Kosal of Georgia Tech."
