Research Horizons Explores the Data Big Picture

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Tech is using data science and engineering to help understand and improve the world around us. The new issue of Research Horizons explores the many on-campus disciplines contributing to this field, which includes the recently established Institute for Data Engineering and Science (IDEAS).

Other articles in the new issue include the exploration of peat bogs in Minnesota, K-12 initiatives around the state and cyber-enabled materials.
