There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy | Posted: October 7, 2009
Professor Margaret E. Kosal presented two papers at the Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy (Oct 2-3, 2009). Both papers presented were co-authored by INTA Students.
(1) "Bioterrorism Deterrence: the Role of Public Health in Security" by Margaret E. Kosal, Ana Terron, and Katherine Lange.
(2) "Bionanoechnology and Iran" by Margaret E. Kosal and Nikita Basandra.
Ana Terron and Katherine Lange are both International Affairs Modern Language (IAML) undergrads. Nikita Basandra is Biomedical Engineering undergrad.
The 2009 Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation policy focused on ways that science and innovation policies can shape the future by setting goals such as safety, economic security, improved health, and environmental quality and by designing programs to reach these goals.
