There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Applications for Sam Nunn Fellows are now being accepted for the Academic Year 2010/11.
NOTE: Deadline for Applications is Friday, 19 March 2010 @ 5pm.
The Sam Nunn Fellowship Program is supported by funding from the MacArthur Foundation, SAIC, and the Callahan Memorial Endowment, the program prepares scientists and engineers to be able to render policy advice on issues at the nexus of science, technology, and international affairs.
The Program's origins are in national and international security policy. However, security relevant policy has always been, and continues to be, broadly defined by the program to include such issues as:
o Resource Scarcity
o Climate Change
o Energy Security
o Infrastructure Protection
o Disaster Management
o Mass Casualty Weapons
o Technological Innovation
o Economic Development
