His Excellency Shoji Ogawa is Japanese Ambassador to Iraq and immediate past Consul General of Japan for the Southeast United States. Discussion topic: 'Japan's role and policies to achieve a stable Middle East, including Iraq, 1990 - 2008'

Dr. David Tal is Visiting Professor in the Department of History at Emory University. Discussion topic: 'Asian powers in the Middle East: a view from the region'

Dr. John Garver is Professor at The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech. Discussion topic: 'China's policies toward the Iran and Iraq crises'

Dr. Adam Stulberg, panel moderator, is Associate Professor at The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech.
