CFACT (Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow) is hosting Lord Christopher Monckton of the UK to speak this week on campus. Regardless of your political beliefs, Lord Monckton (who is not actually in the House of Lords) is a well known international figure. It is widely known that he is a conservative. Because CFACT is a conservative environmental organization, he will be touching on his environmental beliefs. However, because of his experience as policy advisor to Margaret Thatcher and his involvement with the Science and Public Policy Institute, I am sure he will cover a broader range of subjects. The event is free and there will be food provided. There will also be time for questions.

This event will be held in the Management Building in Tech Square in room 101 (1st floor by the lobby). Parking is across the street in a garage on Spring or a lot on 5th. He will begin speaking at 7:00 p.m., and the event should not last more than an hour or hour and a half. Arrive early for good seating.
