Summaries

Summary Sentence: Sponsored by the Georgia Tech Fellowship Communication Program

Full Summary: The Georgia Tech Fellowship Communication Program assists student applicants for prestigious scholarships and fellowships.

In addition to Fulbright research awards available in 140 countries, this year several countries also have special awards in certain fields:

  • There are Science, Engineering, Math, and Architecture awards in the Netherlands, Australia, Italy, and Chile.
  • There are Business and Finance awards in Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain, and Australia.
  • There are Public Policy and International Relations awards for Mexico, Malaysia, and Austria.

Students who write successful nationally competitive scholarship applications usually begin making plans months (and sometimes years) in advance of the deadline. Students need to plan effective research experiences, summer internships, and participation in meaningful campus and community activities.

The Georgia Tech Fellowship Communication Program assists student applicants for prestigious scholarships and fellowships such as Rhodes, Marshall, Gates Cambridge, Churchill, Fulbright, Mitchell, Udall, Goldwater, and others.

We encourage students to:

  • make an appointment early in their college career to discuss specific and general application interests with fellowship advisors,
  • attend scholarship information sessions,
  • visit the official web sites of scholarships that fit with their career objectives and experiences, and
  • check the Georgia Tech T-Square Fellowship Communication Program web site (sign-in required) for information such as deadlines and tips about writing applications.
