Housing News for September ParentNews 2016

Full Summary:

No summary paragraph submitted.

New or returning Georgia Tech students who wish to live in on-campus housing for the Spring 2017 semester may apply online beginning mid-September. Residents who are on campus this fall already have an academic year housing contract which includes both fall and spring semesters, and no action is required for spring housing.

Current residents are not required to move out of their residence hall during the semester break in December; however, please note the following dates before making travel arrangements:

  • Saturday, December 17 by NOON: Move out for all students not residing on campus Spring 2017
  • Sunday, December 18 by NOON: Move out for graduating students
  • Sunday, December 18 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.: Room switch

NOTE: To avoid unnecessary penalty charges when terminating the housing contract for acceptable reasons, we encourage your student to read and follow the instructions in “VI. CONTRACT TERMINATION BY STUDENT - AFTER CONTRACT BEGINS” of the 2016-2017 ACADEMIC YEAR CONTRACT.

If your student resides with us now or will in the future, we hope that his/her experience in our housing is positive and promotes academic success. We are available to help you and/or your student or answer questions by phone (404-894-2470) Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. or by email (information@housing.gatech.edu). Thank you for choosing GT Housing!
