There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. ECE Professor Wayne Wolf received an honorary doctorate from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras, located in Patras, Greece. During a ceremony of proclamation on October 16, Dr. Wolf was presented with this honor and was recognized for his distinguished educational, research, and professional service contributions to the field.
Established in 1964, the University of Patras is highly regarded by the European and international communities for its expertise in science and technology. Dr. Wolf holds the Rhesa "Ray" P. Farmer Distinguished Chair of Embedded Computing Systems at Georgia Tech and is also a Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar.
