There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. ECE Associate Professor Gabriel Rincon-Mora has been named a 2009-10 Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS).
As one of 11 distinguished lecturers appointed by IEEE-CASS for this upcoming year, Dr. Rincon-Mora will deliver lectures on power management integrated circuits. He specializes in the areas of electrical energy and electronic design and applications.
An ECE faculty member since 2001, Dr. Rincon-Mora is a past director of the Georgia Tech Analog Consortium and is the founder and administrator of the Analog Undergraduate Outreach Program. Before coming to Georgia Tech, he held several technical positions at Texas Instruments.
The mission of the Distinguished Lecturer Program is to serve the needs of the members of the CASS to enhance their professional knowledge and vitality by keeping them informed of the latest research results and their practical applications.
