There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. A volunteer information session for the State of Georgia FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Championship will be held on Tuesday, November 17 from 11 am-12 noon in the Klaus Building, Room 2448.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in helping with the state championship tournament, which will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Georgia Tech Student Center and Student Center Commons.
The challenge this year is called "Smart Move" and involves research and design of self-propelled vehicles. Teams will build a sensor-equipped robotic vehicle to gain access to places and things, while avoiding and surviving impacts.
