There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Starting this september, public nights at the Gerogia Tech Observatory will resume for the 2016-2017 season. Once a month, the observatory will be open for people to take part in observing various celestial bodies. Viewings will be paired with a talk given thirty minutes after start time. The 2016-2017 season will also mark the 10th anniversary of the Georgia Tech Observatory.Go to the astronomy website for more information.
