A body of work including sketches by the late Terry Sargent, AIA, renderings by Barbara Ratner, and photographs by Jonathan Hillyer will be exhibited at the Georgia Tech College of Design Stubbins Gallery from August 22 through September 6, 2016. The exhibition showcases eleven commissioned buildings from their initial concept drawings through completion. Sargent, who passed away in 2014, practiced in Atlanta for much of his early career, first with Lord & Sargent and subsequently with Lord Aeck Sargent. Instrumental in his firms’ winning over 50 awards, Terry was recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the AIA Huron Valley Chapter of Michigan in 2014.
