The Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business presents Business, Environment, and Society Seminar Series speaker Michael Molitor.
Could Janet Yellen, and her counterparts at the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan, be completely wrong? Could our anemic low growth conditions be the result of factors that cannot be corrected by unprecedented Central Bank monetary experiments?
What are the implications for large companies and institutional investors of a sustainable transition from low to high growth? Which companies have a clear pathway to a high growth model and which others will be left behind?
Michael Molitor is the Senior Fellow at the Ray C. Anderson Foundation. He is interested in the transition to a circular economy, disruptive innovation, and improving overall resource productivity. He completed a Ford Foundation post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University, a Ph.D. from Cambridge University, a joint MSc between the London School of Economics and Imperial College and a B.A. from the University of Michigan. He has held full time academic appointments at the University of California (Berkeley and San Diego), Columbia University, Carleton College and part time positions at Stanford University and SciencesPo. He spent 15 years in the private sector as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers (pwc) and as a senior advisor at BP, McKinsey and the OECD.
