There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Dr. Sue Ann Bidstrup Allen recently received two awards. She was selected by the Council for Chemical Research to receive the 2007-08 Diversity Award. The award is given to an individual whose leadership has had a positive impact on advancement of minorities, women, and underrepresented groups within chemistry-based sciences and engineering through recruitment, retention, mentoring and increased access to research careers. Dr. Bidstrup Allen also received the 2008 Sharon Keillor Award. The award is given by the American Society of Engineering Education to recognize and honor outstanding women engineering educators.
