There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Researchers at Georgia Institute of Technology have developed a super low-power camera designed to never shut off. The system was designed specifically as a method for waking up devices, never turning off, while running off of ambient power. Researchers on the project include ECE Professor Justin Romberg, ON Semiconductor Junior Professor and ECE Associate Professor Arijit Raychowdhury, and their graduate students Anvesha A, Shaojie Xu, and Ningyuan Cao.
