Summary Sentence: Finalists compete for Georgia Tech's ID Student Merit Award

Full Summary: Student finalists Patricia Bell, Randy Chiang, Christina Mayo, and Krystal Persaud will present work to a jury of Atlanta-area industrial design practitioners.

The Student Merit Award is a vehicle through which the Industrial Designer's Society of America recognizes student excellence in industrial design programs. One student from each accredited school is nominated for the award. Students that are nominated by the faculty present their body of work to local ID professionals.

Georgia Tech's four IDSA Student Merit Award Finalists are:

- Patricia Bell
- Randy Chiang
- Christina Mayo
- Krystal Persaud

These students will present their bodies of work before a panel of three Atlanta-area industrial design practitioners, who will select a single finalist as the recipient of Georgia Tech's Student Merit Award. The winner will go on to represent Georgia Tech at the IDSA district conference to compete for the title of Southeastern District Student Merit winner.
