There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Full Summary: The Red Cross needs help to replenish its blood supplies. Summer is the most difficult time of the year for collections because so many donors are travelling and most schools are either closed or have low attendance.

Summer is the most difficult time of the year for blood collections because so many donors are travelling and most schools are either closed or have low attendance. Approximately 20 percent of the blood donations in Georgia come from students! With the students gone, it is difficult to replace these donations which typically results in blood shortages.

Walk-ins are welcome, but priority is given to individuals who make appointments online at www.redcrossblood.org, using sponsor code "gatech."
