There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. For the second straight season, the Georgia Tech Softball team has been picked as a host site for a regional in the NCAA Tournament, announced tonight live on ESPNU. The Yellow Jackets (49-9) are the No. 8 national seed and will host the Atlanta Regional, May 21-23, at Mewborn Field along with Oregon, Auburn and Jacksonville State.
Tech will open the tournament Friday night at 8 p.m. against fourth-seeded Jacksonville State on ESPN. No. 2 Oregon and No. 3 Auburn will play in the first game on Friday at 5:30 p.m. on ESPN2. Every game from the Atlanta Regional will be televised live on the ESPN family of networks.
