Since joining McGraw-Hill Education in April 2014, David has led the transformation of the company from a traditional textbook publisher to a learning science company with a vision of unlocking the full potential of each learner through an approach focused on:
Under his leadership, McGraw-Hill Education has moved to combine the science of learning with the art of teaching, harnessing technology in order to enhance learning inside and outside of the classroom and deepen connections between students and teachers. David is committed to renewing the company's culture, fostering an open, collaborative and social environment.

Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from "building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible leadership." The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni, and the Atlanta business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit leaders. The lecture series is sponsored by the Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship, the Scheller College of Business, the GT College of Computing, and C21U.
