There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Institute for Computing Education (ICE) will hold a 5 day Computing in the Modern World workshop July 12-16th, 2010 at Georgia Tech. Teachers must attend all 5 days, and participate in developing lesson plans during class, to receive 3 PLUs. Georgia's Computing in the Modern World course includes approximately 7-10 weeks of computer programming (see more info). The Computing in the Modern World course is based on the ACM's Model Curriculum for K-12 Education's Computer Science in the Modern World Level II course.
