There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. PicoCrickets and Scratch. For rising 6th - 8th grade students. Five days, from 9am - 3pm.
Would you like to create an interactive story? Would you like to make a musical pickle? Would you like to see how fast you react to a sound or a light? You will use free software from MIT called Scratch to create 2D animations and games. You will use PicoCrickets to make digital arts and crafts that react to sound, light, and touch.
