There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. LEGO NXT and Alice. For rising 6th - 8th grade students. Four days, from 9am - 3pm.
Would you like to be the director of a 3D movie? Would you like to program a robot to help you enter a Mayan temple? In this session you will use free software from CMU called Alice to allow you to make 3D animations and simple games. And, you will use LEGO NXT robots to solve a series of challenges.
