There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. One in three persons will have an experience with fire during his or her lifetime. Are you sure you know what to do in case of fire? Do you know how to use a fire extinguisher? Do you know when not to use an extinguisher? This fast-paced program will help you make better choices in emergency situations at work and at home. You'll also learn some basic tips to reduce the likelihood of a fire in your work area or home.
This is a two part session. Session two will be held immediately after session one. In the event that you cannot stay for session two you will need to attend the next available session in order to get credit for the course.
This course is a Required course of the Emergency Preparedness Certificate Program Curriculum, but is open to all. If you would like more information about this curriculum, click here.
