There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Carnival serves as an interactive introduction for new incoming first-year and transfer students to OMED: Educational Services and its programs. This event will serve as an opportunity for new underrepresented students to meet current student leaders associated with OMED (Edge Leaders, Tutors, Former Challenge Counselors, and OMED Staff). Carnival is open to all students.
At Carnival, students will have a chance to tour the renovated Chapin Building, which houses the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion. Students will receive information on programs and resources, as well as provide a vehicle for student to engage with their peers. Student organizations will also be present as additional resources to new incoming students.
