A 2009 paper coauthored by Amy Bruckman (IC) and former advisee Andrea Forte was awarded a Citation of Excellence by Emerald Management Reviews.
The paper, "Decentralization in Wikipedia Governance," examines how Wikipedia's policies for article editing have evolved with the growth and popularity of the online encyclopedia. The paper was published in the summer 2009 issue of the Journal of Management Information Systems.
Bruckman is an associate professor in the School of Interactive Computing. Forte earned her Ph.D. from the College of Computing in 2009 and is now an assistant professor in Drexel University's College of Information Science and Technology.
