There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. College of Management Dean and chair of the Georgia Tech Provost and Executive Vice President search committee Steve Salbu has named the second finalist candidate who will visit campus in the coming weeks.
Dr. Susan Hackwood, executive director of the California Council on Science and Technology and professor of electrical engineering at the University of California-Riverside, will visit the Tech campus to discuss her vision on May 6 and 7.
A public presentation is scheduled for Thursday, May 6, at 11 a.m. in room 236 of the Global Learning and Conference Center. Faculty and staff are invited to attend an informal reception with the candidate following the presentation. [Faculty and staff in Savannah may participate via videoconference in EDRB 244; faculty and staff in Metz may participate via videoconference in room 113.]
