Full Summary: The Campus Recreation Center (CRC) is hosting the Annual Halloween Holla 5K: Ghosts, Ghouls, & Walkers Welcome! Runners/Walkers will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the front of the CRC and run the Tyler Brown Pi Mile.
Halloween 5K RunnersThe Campus Recreaiton Center (CRC) is hosting the annual Halloween Holla 5K Run & Walk on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. Costumes are encouraged at this event, so all ghosts, ghouls and walkers are welcome!
Registration is free, and available online through mycrc.gatech.edu. Onsite registration will also be available on race day, however all participants must register by 7 a.m. All members of the Georgia Tech community are welcome to attend this event, including; students, staff, faculty, alumni, and affiliates. Additionally, you don’t need to be a member of the CRC to participate.
Race check in will open at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, October 28th. Arrive early to increase your chances of winning a Halloween Holla t-shirt! The first 200 to check in the morning of the event will win a free t-shirt.
Runners and walkers will convene in front of the CRC at 7 a.m. to prepare for the race, which begins at 7:30 a.m. The race will follow the Tyler Brown Pi Mile through campus.
Pokemon Challenge:
Still trying to catch ‘em all? Take part in the Campus Recreation Center’s Halloween Holla 5k Pokemon Challenge! Walk the race with fellow pokemon enthusiasts, and enter for a chance to win a Pikachu Halloween costume. Don’t forget to incubate a 5km egg, and choose your walking buddy before the start of the race to maximize your fun.
The course will be laden with lures, increasing your chances of collecting rare Pokemon during the 5k. Walk with your Pokemon team to show your spirit, and socialize with your fellow Pokemon fans. Upon completion of the walk, battle for control of the CRC’s Pokemon Gym against the other teams. Don’t miss the chance to show off your team’s strongest Pokemon and compete against fellow trainers.
