There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The Office of Information Technology is reporting at least one college at Georgia Tech has been victimized by a sophisticated phishing attack that has been broadly directed at multiple universities.

To the recipient, the phishing email appears to originate from a copier within an individual’s department or school. If the attachment is opened, it could potentially compromise the computer.

Any member of the faculty or staff who opened the attachment should immediately reach out to their Unit Computer Support Representative (CSR). Students who may have received it should reach out to the TSC for support.
