Fall Teaching Kickoff

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Each fall and spring, just before the semester begins, we gather together for a series of interactive workshops aimed at getting you geared up and ready for the first day of class.

This year we'll be offering a series of three workshops (visit our website for more information):

  • Developing and Assessing Major Assignments (9-11 AM with Dr. Carol Subino Sullivan)
  • Beyond Think-Pair-Share: Conducting Productive and Engaging Discussions in Every Course (11:30 AM - 1 PM with Dr. Ruth Poproski, lunch provided)
  • Small Changes in Teaching: Big Impact, Little Effort (1:30-3 PM with Dr. Joyce Weinsheimer)
