No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Online parking permit registration is from Thursday, April 15, to Wednesday, June 30, for all Georgia Tech students, faculty and staff. Visit www.parking.gatech.edu and follow the registration prompts. Registration is available for the following permit types: Regular, Evening/Weekend, SmartPark, Motorcycle or Carpool.
Patrons who want to keep their same parking location next year must still register online. They will receive the same location next year. Patrons who want to change locations must choose three location preferences and a default location (either E81-Tech Square or W02-Student Center). They will be assigned to a default choice if the top three preferences are not available.
Choose parking locations wisely to avoid making changes in the fall. Starting in August 2010, an administrative fee of up to $25 will be charged to anyone who wants to change their parking location. Those who do not register before June 30 are not likely to receive their preferred parking locations.
Monthly pre-tax payroll deduction is available for faculty and staff. Students can pay via their bursar’s accounts. Payment via check, cash, and credit or debit cards is also available, but must be paid in person.

All current parking citations must be paid before new permits are issued. Also, patrons should update addresses via Oscar or Techworks accounts to ensure permits are mailed to the correct location. While Parking and Transportation recommends that patrons have their permits mailed, they can be picked up in person.
Any questions about registration, should be sent to info.parking@parking.gatech.edu.
