Dr. Peterson will make his historic first visit to the Lorraine campus in Metz June 14--16, 2010. 

Monday June 14,  Paris

  • President Peterson will meet the President of the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Paris for a signature of the extension of the GT-CNRS-UMI 2958 International laboratory

 

Tuesday June 15,  Metz (Georgia Tech Lorraine)

3:00pm  – 6:00 pm          

  • Inauguration of laboratories co-sponsored by the Conseil Régional, the French State, and CNRS
  • GTL anniversary : The past and next 20 years                                   
  • Signature of Agreements

6:00pm-7:00pm:  Reception 

 

Wednesday  June 16

9:30 am– 11:30  am         

  • Tour of a historical American WWII cemetery in St Avold with the 220 GT undergraduates of the GTL summer program

 6:30 pm  - 9:30 pm, Paris (Invitation Only)     

  • Alumni Event in Paris co-sponsored by GTL and Alumni Association
