Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority is proud to present the inaugural Bolt for PCOS 5K Run/Walk on Georgia Tech’s campus on April 10. Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the run/walk begins at 8:30 a.m.
Race registration is available online. The cost is $15 for students before race day, $20 for non-students before race day, $20 for students on race day, and $25 for non-students on race day. Each participant is guaranteed a t-shirt if registered prior to March 26th and refreshments will be provided after the race.
Bolt for PCOS was created to raise awareness of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome as well as raise funds for PCOS research and support. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most prevalent endocrine disorders affecting women of reproductive age. Between 5% – 10% of women are affected by PCOS and the disease is one of the primary causes of infertility.
