There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. ADAPTS and Pi Kappa Phi co-sponsor a conversation on "Current and Future Trends in Higher Education for Students with Disabilities" as part of Disability Awareness Days. This is the second of three topics to be explored during the day.
About this Lecture:
Seminar participants will gain insight on national
issues related to students with disabilities and obtain an understanding of how
these issues may impact Georgia Tech and other institutions of higher
education.
About Disability Awareness Days:
Each year ADAPTS hosts a series of events over several days with the goal of to promoting heightened awareness, acceptance, and understanding of persons with disabilities within the Georgia Tech community. This year’s theme, "Exploring the Relativity of Normal," was selected to give the Tech community an opportunity to investigate the qualitative and quantitative constructs of ability.
