Georgia Tech's Office of International Education will be hosting the 21st annual Study Abroad Fair on October 4, 2016 to help the campus community learn about all of Georgia Tech's study abroad opportunities!
Did you know that in 2015-2016 54% of undergraduate students had an international experience with Georgia Tech before they graduated? In fact, Tech has 85 partner universities in over 30 countries around the world and also leads 35+ faculty-led programs abroad each year--that's a lot to choose from, but we don't want you to be overwhelmed! The Study Abroad Fair is your chance to ask questions and see which program is right for you. The Fair puts Study Abroad Program Directors, Faculty, Advisors, and other campus resources together to answer your questions and help you explore a world of options.
There will be opportunities to learn about how Financial Aid works when studying abroad, study abroad scholarships, and other ways to have an international experience with Tech. There will also be tasty treats and chances to win awesome prizes (like t-shirts, Yeti tumblers, a set of luggage, and more)!
So, if you're looking to study abroad during your time here at Tech--whether you're ready to apply or just exploring--it's never too early to start planning. All undergraduate majors can earn major and elective credit while studying with a Tech study abroad program--so, come learn more about these opportunities or start investigating them here: https://oie.gatech.edu/study-abroad-programs.
