The Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) Programs place recipients in classrooms abroad to provide assistance to the local English teachers. ETA’s help teach English language while serving as cultural ambassadors for the U.S. The age and academic level of the students varies by country, ranging from kindergarten to university level. Applicants for English Teaching Assistant Programs can apply to only one country.

The Georgia Tech campus application deadline is August 1, 2016.
Georgia Tech students and alumni who meet the campus deadline will receive support and guidance from the Prestigious Fellowship program as well as the Pre-Teaching program throughout the application process.
The Georgia Tech application completion deadline is August 31, 2016.
Anyone can apply directly through Fulbright without the support of either office. The final Fulbright deadline is October 11, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.

You acquire new and additional skills and experiences that can make you a stronger candidate for opportunities you wish to pursue later.
