Abstract: 

The Ph.D. research is centered on passive RF sensing, in particular the design and development of nanomaterial based flexible sensors for high frequency applications utilizing 3D/Inkjet printing technologies. One major advantage of nanomaterial based RF sensing platforms is the realization of completely passive remote sensing in minimized packaging with high sensitivity. 3D and Inkjet printing technologies make the large scale fabrication of flexible sensors at low cost feasible.
