Rhode Island To Require HPV Vaccine Of All 7th Graders Beginning This Fall.

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. The Providence (RI) Journal (7/29) reports seventh-graders in all public and private schools across Rhode Islands will be required to get the HPV vaccine beginning this fall. Rhode Island joins Virginia and Washington, DC as the third jurisdiction to make the vaccine mandatory.
