John Peponis to Deliver Keynote at Shenzhen University

John Peponis will be teaching a workshop on space syntax analysis applied to the design of superblocks at Shenzhen University, May 18-20. This workshop is part of a collaboration to develop approaches and tools to support better urban design. He will also be a keynote speaker at an international forum, at the same University, May 21st: From Research to Design – High Density Built Environments. These engagements follow upon the publication of a paper on “The open city and the space syntax of good urban life” in the Chinese journal New Architecture, coauthored with doctoral student Chen Feng.
